On Monday the nomination hearings for Judge Sam Alito Will begin. I think that Alito is a good choice to serve on the court. I don't believe from what I have seen that he will force his personal views upon anyone. Sure, Alito is a conservative judge but this should not apply heavily. It's worth a lot when the most liberal newspapers, give praise to such a man. The left is scared that Alito will be confirmed.

Senator Collins and Snowe are left to make up their own minds. They should not listen to any outside special interest groups and should make an informed decision based on Judge Alito's record and experience as both a lawyer and judge.

President Bush should feel proud that he has nominated, such a respected man that will up hold the constitution and won't actively try to make law from the bench. Because yes, the President is allowed to listen in on suspected terriorts, and no the Constitution does not protect the right to an abortion.

Mr. Alito is the man to replace Sandra Day O'Connor!
